Ethan Alexander Hanson, of Republic, MO, passed away at his home on Monday, August 28, 2023, he was sixteen years old. Born on July 19, 2007, in Goodyear, Arizona, Ethan was the second child in the family.
He was a Junior at Republic High School. Ethan was an amazing student with a 4.0 GPA, who loved playing both the acoustic and electric acoustic guitar. He loved grunge music and vintage clothing. He loved hanging out with his friends, shopping at thrift stores, and blaming his dad for his "weak genetics" when it came to his height. He had a funny and sarcastic sense of humor. His quirky personality shined when it came to chores he was "allergic" to doing the dishes but would vacuum his room at the drop of a dime. Ethan loved a good strong cup of black coffee and could eat an entire tuxedo cake by himself. He was a great brother to his younger sister and brother, Rowan and Henry, often playing the guitar for them.
Ethan leaves behind his father Credence (Rebecca) Hanson, his mother Sara Foltynewicz, siblings Arianna (Kaleb) Hanson, Rowan Hanson and Henry Hanson, lifelong besties Kalea Koenig and Gaeb Creson, the Koenig Family who were like Ethan's second family as well as other extended family and countless friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to W.O.W (3014 E Sunshine, Ste E, Springfield, Mo 65804 or at www.watchingoverwhiskers.org ) A Visitation to celebrate Ethan's life will be held on Friday, September 08, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic.
