Ethan MacFarland

Ethan David MacFarland, age 22, of Royal Oak, passed away January 12, 2023. He was born in Dayton, OH to David MacFarland and Jenifer Shepherd MacFarland. Ethan was a lifelong area resident, graduating in 2018 from Berkley High School. During his high school years he was a member of the marching band where he played trumpet. He furthered his education at Oakland Community College and worked in the hospitality/restaurant industry at various locations in Oakland County. Known for being industrious, Ethan enjoyed working, and when he had time off could often be found bowling, his favorite past time.
Beloved son of David MacFarland and Jenifer MacFarland (fiance' Jason Houck). Dear brother of Noah MacFarland and Evan MacFarland. Loving grandson of Jerry (Anne) Shepherd, Judie Monson, Beth (George) Ghazal and the late Dennis MacFarland. Nephew of Michelle (Mark) Schloff. Visitation Wednesday 3-8 pm at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. (4 blks E. of Woodward), Royal Oak. Funeral Thursday 11 am at the funeral home.
