ETHAN MATTHEW STRAIN

Ethan Matthew Strain, 35 passed away February 18th, 2026 in Stigler, Ok. He was born January 15th, 1991 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to his parents Danny L. Strain and Susan "Watts" Strain. He grew up at Keota where he graduated as Salutatorian of his class in 2009. He loved basketball, baseball, and disc golf. He worked as an electrician for several years in Tulsa. He enjoyed swimming, fishing, riding horses, and disc golf. He is survived by his parents, Danny and Susan Strain of Keota; 2 Brothers, Jonathan Watts of Keota, James Francis of Fort Smith; 1 Sister, Brandy Redfern of Texarkana, AR; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, J.D. and Patsy Watts; Paternal Grandparents, Wesley and Jewell Strain; Numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday - February 24th, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel. Interment following at Milton Cemetery, McCurtain, Ok. Officiating the service will be Pastor Brandon Mooneyham. Pallbearers will be Jack Conley, Grason McClary, Lucky Gabbard, John "Bit" Strain, James Francis, Charles "Bubba" Bobo. Honorary Pallbearers include Jade Stockdale, Ashley Bryant, Mandy Ward, Jessica Nolen, Jamie Jackson, Sarah Beth McClary.
