Holden Edward Thomas

Holden Edward Thomas, 83 of Red Oak passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at Kinta. He was born February 5th 1942 at Bengal, Ok. to his parents Ancel Ray and Lena May "English" Thomas. He grew up in Red Oak where he graduated High School. He married Margaret Foster October 6th, 1962 in Indio, California. He began a career as a Heavy Equipment best ever Operator. He lived in and worked between California, Oklahoma and Montana. He moved back to Red Oak in 2015. He loved watching westerns, loved OU Softball, adored watching his family and grandkids do anything. He coached woman's softball teams for many years. He's survived by his wife Margaret Thomas of the home. 2 Daughters; Shirl Kay Harris of Palmer, Alaska, Tina Raynor of Milan, Tennessee; 5 Grandchildren: Bryan Harris Jr. and wife Vanessa of Midwest City, Ok., Jessica Saputo and husband Simon of Medina, Tennessee, Brynn Harris and wife Tasha of Wasilla, Alaska, Hailey Raynor of Southside, Tennessee, Brayden Harris and Ty-Reah of Bozeman, Montana. 9 Great Grandchildren; Jaxsen Holden, Asher, Reese, Vander, Owen, Torin, Malakai, Gabriella, Whitley. Bonus Sister; Donna Tucker of Kinta. 2 Brothers; Arnold and Jesse Thomas. He's preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Lena Thomas; Brothers, Paul, Johnny, Ance Thomas. Sisters; Rachel, Archie, Goldie, Audra. 1 Grandson; Allen Edward Harris. 1 Great Grandson, Faith Harris. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 4th, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel. Officiated by Reverend Gary Tucker. Interment to follow at Sans Bois Cemetery.
