Born April 23, 1940, to Riley and Cathleen Mills. She knew and believed in God. She was the baby of 9 children. Ethel departed this earthly life on Friday August 29, 2025. Ethel was educated at Cumberland High School located in Nashville, TN. She was raised on a farm and developed a deep sense of responsibility and a strong work ethic. Ethel loved her family and friends. She played softball, bowled, and she also loved football along with other sports. Ethel always opened her home to family and friends in need. Offering them shelter, wisdom, and support to rebuild their lives. Ethel was a confidant, a source of guidance, and a healer of broken hearts. She leaves to continue to celebrate her life two sons Lester (Paula) Blanton, Robert Blanton, five grandchildren, Lester JR. (Nikki), Tabria (Tre), Amanda, Travis (Natausha), and Jade. 14 great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and nine step great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
