Ethel M Cargill

Ethel May Cargill, age 92 passed away peacefully on October 8,2025 in her home that she has lived in for 39 Years. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 10,1932, where she grew up and met Alfred G. CARGILL the love of her Life. They got married on September 8,1951 and had 3 Children: David, Joyce and Richard.
Ethel worked for Easter Seal Society for 17 Years as a Assistant Teacher taking Care of Special Needs Children, she was dedicated and loved all her students. In 1986 she moved with her husband to Palm Harbor Fl. She started volunteering for hospice and later on she met Jon Wilkinson where they spent their Life's together for many years, traveling, kayaking and especially country dancing. She also had some longtime friends who followed her to Florida, Helen and Doris and Shirley and Josephine.
Ethel was predeceased by her Parents Irvin and Ethel Taggert and her late Husband Alfred G. Cargill. She is survived by her sons David and wife Valery, Richard and Wife Rosie, and Daughter Joyce and husband Ed, also 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She will be loved and missed by all.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on October 28, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Curlew Hills Memory Garden at 1750 Curlew Rd. Palm Harbor, FL.
