Ethel Harmon, 95, of Warsaw, passed away on Monday October 27, 2025 at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital, Warsaw.
Ethel the second oldest child of eleven children was born to Adam and Julie (Haywood) Slone, May 17, 1930, in Blue River, Kentucky.
Ethel retired from Kimble Glass in 1995 after 21 years as a Packer.
Ethel loved working her garden, enjoying her flowers and chickens, but her greatest love was her family and friends.
Ethel leaves behind a daughter Kay (Leonard) Goble, a special niece Julie (Steve) Littlejohn, brothers: Kenton (Bonnie) Slone, Adam Slone Jr., all of Warsaw and Wendall (Brenda) Slone of Mentone, sisters: Edith Stumbo of Prestonsburg, Ky and Ruby (Richard) Krebs, granddaughters: Becky (Steve) Schwegman and Gretchen (Scott) Powell, 5 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Ervin Slone, Carl Slone, Issac Slone, Fred Slone, Clayton Slone, daughter: Joyce Ann Harmon, grandson: Michael Scott Goble and life partner: Ray Freeman.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Warsaw Family Worship Center, 1250 Husky Trail, Warsaw, Indiana 46582.
Visitation will be held Monday November 3, 2025, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels from 4-6 pm, with services on Tuesday November 4, 2025 starting at 11 am, with Pastor Jonathon Spyres officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
