Ethel Mae Milbourne was born December 19, 1927, in Leesburg, NJ. She departed this life on February 2, 2025, in Bridgeton, NJ. She grew up in Port Norris, NJ and lived there throughout her life. She received her formal education through the Port Norris School System.
Ethel was predeceased by her husband, Paul A. Milbourne Sr. They shared 65 years together. She worked in the oyster and clam industry until her retirement in 1990. She loved to be outdoors and could be found working in her yard for hours on end. She worshipped at New Hope Baptist Church in Cedarville, NJ.
Ethel's family was always the focal point of her life. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Paul A. Milbourne Jr., Dorothy M. Key (Henry), and Lawrence (Larry) Milbourne; stepson, Leonard Weems. She is survived by six grandchildren, Monty Paul (Lacey) Milbourne, Henry Alexander Key, Terra Milbourne, Yvonne Martin, Shirleen Denby, and Jeffrey Key. She also leaves to cherish her memories, five great grandchildren and other family and friends.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Shirley Denby and her son, Monty Alexander Milbourne. She was also predeceased by three grandchildren, Christopher Milbourne, Stephen Milbourne and Tonia McDaniel.
