Ethel M Traylor

Ethel Traylor was born on July 11, 1935 in Worthington Ohio, Ethel transitioned from this life on January 26, 2026. Following the Judean-Christian principles that led her from her youth, through Worthington High School as the first brown cheerleader, her decades at Schottenstein's North's data center, all the while caring for her family, her St. John A.M.E. family, her community, and Paul Laurence Dunbar choir family; enjoying volunteering and singing. She is survived by son; Wayne, brother; V.C. Laws jr., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Tommie, parents; V.C. and Esther Laws, sisters; Marianne Chandler, Virginia McCammon and Geneva Colston. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 1pm at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 5561 Milton Ave, Worthington, Ohio; the repast will be at St. John A.M.E., 7700 Cross Woods Drive, Columbus, Ohio. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John A.M.E church. Arrangements are provided by RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME.
