Ethel Rebecca (Beck) Walters

Ethel Rebecca (Beck) Walters, 90, of Lancaster, passed away on March 28, 2026 at the Pickering House. She was born to the late Carl and Grace Beck in Pleasantville, OH on September 12. 1935.

Ethel enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and skating (a skating rink is where she met her husband, Harold Walters. She was a kind, generous and thoughtful person all through her life.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Amy Mahon; great grandchildren, Abigail (Brandon) Sharp and Grace Mahon, and several other great grandchildren; great great grandson, Tucker Sharp and several other great great grandchildren; nephews, Johnny and Jay Beck; and several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Walters, son, Robert Beck; grandchildren, Randy Beck and Bobby Beck Jr.; daughter-in-law, Sharon Beck; siblings, Mary Graham, “Peg” Hedges, Carl “Frank” Beck, Jr., John Beck, and Gertrude Beck.

A funeral service officiated by chaplain Mark Linn will take place on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 1 PM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends may visit from 11 AM until the time of services on Thursday.
