Eugene E. "Gene" Beecher

Eugene E. "Gene" Beecher age 80 of Corning New York passed away at his home on Wednesday December 14, 2022. Born on November 26, 1942 in Corning New York, he was the son of the late Mark and Encia (Hayes) Beecher.
Gene was a graduate of Northside Blodgett High School. He married Rose Marie Froehlich on November 25, 1961. He worked as the Sole Custodian for the Corning Painted Post School District for over 20 years before his retirement.
Gene will be remembered for the love for his family, fatherhood, his love of NASCAR and a little beer.
Gene is survived by his loving wife, Rose Marie Beecher of Corning, New York; his children: Gene (Beth) Beecher, Kevin (Kelly) Beecher and Lisa (Randy) Hilligus. As well as 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brothers: Gerald (Patricia) Beecher, Kenneth (Nancy) Beecher; and sisters: Beverly (Dick) Madorsky, Joan (Mike) Osatchuck.
In addition to his parents, Gene was predeceased by his sister, Jackie Morris.
A Celebration of Gene's Life will be held at his son Gene and Beth Beecher's house at 4299 Lilly Road Corning, New York on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm. Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with the arrangements.
