Ronald H. Brewster, age 83, passed away on January 29, 2026, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania. He was born on October 24, 1942, in Corning, New York, the son of the late Howard and Mildred (Phillips) Brewster.

Ron was a graduate of Corning Free Academy, Class of 1961. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1969. In 1972, Ron opened Ron's TV in Corning, owning and operating the business for more than 30 years until its closing. He will be fondly remembered as one of Corning's finest television repairmen. Following the closing of his business, Ron devoted himself to faithfully and lovingly caring for his wife, who has been living with multiple sclerosis, for 25 years.

Ron was known as a true jack of all trades, able to accomplish anything he set his mind to. He enjoyed traveling and explored many states while journeying in his RV.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Cleary Brewster of Elmira, NY; children: Britt (Tammy) Brewster of Lawrenceville, PA, Suzette (Eddie) Vallee of Phoenix, AZ; step-children: William Anthony Cecchini of Fayetteville, NC, Kelly Bachert of Elmira, NY, John Matthew Bachert of Corning, NY; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; close friends, Donnie and Ellen Walter; and his faithful dog, Daisy.

In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by an infant brother, Donald; his step-daughter, Nicky Sabro; and grandson, Tyler Brewster.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 4:30 pm at Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning, NY. Burial will take place in the Spring at Bath National Cemetery.
