Eugene Alan Braunfeld, 81, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on September 3, 2025.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 6, 1943, to the late Irving and Marcia Lebowitz Braunfeld. Along with his parents, Eugene is preceded in death by his uncle and aunt, Gerston and Charlotte Lebowitz.

Eugene was a proud father and loving grandfather. He had a soft spot for animals, particularly his dog, Baxter. He enjoyed reading, listening to classical music, and watching Netflix shows. He retired early from his career, and spent his remaining years dedicated to supporting his daughters and grandchildren. He will forever be remembered as someone who was kind, giving, and selfless.

He is survived by his daughters, Laura (Benji), Ellie (Michael), and Elisabeth; grandchildren, Tyler, Haylee, Nelson, and Emmy; brothers, Joel (Diane), Jonathan (Angela), and Robin (Davora), as well as nieces and nephews, Scott, Ilana, Zachary, Jason, and Travis.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 2:00-4:30pm at the family’s residence in Davidson, NC.
