Eugene Crane Jr., age 89 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025.
Mr. Crane was born on April 7, 1936, in Hiawassee, Georgia, to the late Eugene Crane, Sr. and Edna Lockaby Crane. He was a devout Christian, farmer, and businessman. In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Palmer Crane; and daughter, Trella Denise Crane.
Survivors include his daughter and her fiancé, Rita Black and Raymond T. Huffman, Sr.; grandchildren, Jordan Black (Sarah), Johnny Fain (Lauren), Cody Cantrell and Corey Cantrell; great-grandchildren, Tatum Cantrell, Will Fain, Paityn Fain, Naomi Black, and Esther Black.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 28, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Whitlock will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
