Eugene Lavonne Dorman, 91, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday. October 2, 2025 at Stonegate Assisted Living in Sandusky.

Eugene was born on February 23, 1934 in Snover, Michigan to the late Clare and Audrey (Philpot) Dorman. He attended Sandusky High School graduating with the class of 1952. Eugene married Peggy Ann (Mason) on June 12, 1954 in Sandusky. Eugene lived in Sandusky his entire life. In his younger days, he enjoyed playing softball. Eugene liked following the Detroit Tigers and Lions. He was a farmer who spent his life working the land. Eugene attended Snover Heritage Church.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Peggy; children, Gregory (Kathleen) Dorman and Julie Cronenwett; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three grand-dogs.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Kenneth (Carol) Dorman, and Wilma (Bob) Mavis and Noretta (Cloyd) Ramsey; and son-in-law, Randy.

The family will receive visitors from 4-8 PM on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Sandusky and from 10-11 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Snover Heritage Church.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Snover Heritage Church, 3329 Snover Road, Snover, Michigan 48472. Burial will follow in Moore Township Cemetery.

Memorials in his name may be made to Snover Heritage Church or the

Alzheimer's Association Michigan, 25200 Telegraph Road, Suite #100, Southfield, Michigan 48033.
