Eugene R. Hafeman Jr.

Eugene R. "Rik" Hafeman, Jr. 68, Allentown, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024 at home. He was the husband of Michelle R. (Batzel) Evans Hafeman, with whom he shared his life with for over 20 years. Born in Whittier, CA, he was the son of the late Eugene R. Sr. and Betty Jane (Newtols) Hafeman. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church, Allentown. While living in the California area, he was a general contractor of his own business, Hafeman Construction. Later, after moving to the Allentown area, he worked as a property manager with his various properties. He will be remembered for his love of surfing and mountain climbing as well as equestrian endurance racing.
Survivors: wife Michelle; stepson Kyle Evans of Neffs; brother Brian and his companion Stephanie of Nevada; sisters Carol Sajovich and her husband Peter of Austin, TX, Annie, wife of the late Bill Miller of Hawaii, Kathryn Jacobs and her husband Donald of Orefield; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 AM, Friday, December 27 at St. Francis R. C. Church, 1046 W Cedar St, Allentown, PA 18102. Calling hour will begin at 9:00 AM.
