Eugene "Gene", 90, of Duluth, Ga passed away on April 14th, 2025. Gene was born on August 12, 1934, in Euharlee GA, a city located in Bartow County, to the late Henry and Essie House. He is preceded in death by his wife of over 65 years to Doris Clark House; sister Mattie Bell Beaver; brothers William "Bill' House, Clyde House, Melvin House, Earnest House, Floyd House, Robert House, Charles House and Harold Lee House. He is survived by his children Deborah and Glenn Frazier of Hoschton Ga. Mark and Kathy House of Bethlehem GA. Grandchildren Aiden House, Kaitlyn and Noah Vaughan.
Gene retired from General Motors where he ended his career as an inspector. Gene was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider. Over the years, he was fortunate to be able to ride across the United States with his friends.
Gene was a member of the Mason's Fraternity Lodge number 444 located in Chamblee. As a member for over 60 years, he held several positions including Pass Master Mason, District Deputy to the Grand Master, and Director of Work for over 30 Years.
He was also honored to serve in the US Army.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in his honor.
A visitation for Gene will be held on Friday, April 18th, 2025 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm, followed by graveside service at Peachtree Memorial Park.
