Eugene Johnson, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024.
He was born on October 2, 1939 in Danville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Maggie Elizabeth Johnson.
Eugene is survived by his loving Wife of 63 years, Mary Sharirlene Johnson, Daughters, Eugenia (Scott) Johnson, Shawna Johnson, Fee (Mike) Morgan, Lisa Jones, Son, Mike Brewer, Grandchildren, Ricky Terry, Jr., Scottie Saunders, Keelan Cole, Sr., Jarrett (Natasha) Morgan, Mykole Morgan, Levi Morgan, Great-Grandchildren, Ricky Terry, Kairo Saunders, Brothers, Elwood Johnson, Gene Bright, Norman Letcher, and Steven Mays, as well as a host of cousins, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Mass Service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (117 W Main St. Danville, KY 40422) with burial to follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
