I came to know Gene and Barb as fellow retailers dealing in vintage items. They both were kind and caring for others as well as for each other and I had been wondering how Gene was coping after February. I had personally shared sentiments with them how life would change as mine had when I became a widower. And as much as his passing is a tragic loss I am confident he was more than ready to rejoin Barb. It may sound arbitrary but I believe Gene died of a broken heart a state beyond his physical incapacity. Gene I hope you are flying high with Barb in the field of flowers that you shared as lovers for life here into eternity.

Gene was a really great neighbor and friend. Him and Barb would stop by to visit on the deck. They(he) will be sorely missed. My condolences to their daughter and granddaughters.

I spent probably 60% of my senior year in Mr. Kravits´ art room. He allowed me to explore pretty much any medium i was interested in, even if it wasn´t in the official lesson plan. He was a great teacher and mentor. R.I.P sir, and thank you.

I am so sorry to hear about Gene´s passing. We were high school friends who kept in touch over the years. We ran into each other at art shows. My sympathies to your family.

Met Gene in 1968 teaching at Monroeville zJunior High School. We were all young teachers and enjoyed going out on the weekends. Barb and Gene frequently hosted and we were always so impressed with Gene´s interior design skills. He was so talented as an art teacher, painter , designer. My condo to Jennifer and the girls.
