Eugene Lanzo Obituary
passed Away peacefully Saturday morning on November 2, 2024 at the age of 74. Born in Canton, Ohio on February 27th, 1950 to the late Eugene and Concetta "Connie"(Mittica) Lanzo. He was a graduate of Canton Lincoln High School. Eugene retired from the City of Canton Water Department after 40 years of employment. He enjoyed being on several different bowling leagues and he was a die hard Steelers fan. He had two tattoos to prove it.He also loved collecting football cards, cleaning his car everyday and talking to anyone willing to listen.
He is preceded in death by his Wife of 42 years Mary Rose (Ranalli), Daughter Gina Lanzo, Granddaughter Kayla Himes, Sister Cindy Daverio. He is survived by his four Children Dina (Chad) Himes, Gino Lanzo, Chris (Candace) Lanzo, Ashley (Jason) Holderbaum; 10 grandchildren Brittany, Tony, Michael, Dylan, Nicolette, Nick, Dominic Lanzo, Amber Himes, Olivia and Oliver Holderbaum; 4 Great - Grandchildren Lillyana, Greyson, Kinsley. Baby Aria arriving in December; Sister Kathy Pellegrini and close cousin Michael Ziccardi.
While his physical presence may no longer be with us, Eugene's spirit will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Services will be Friday 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Eugene. He was a very good person. I remember all our talks at Marcs. Sometimes as long as a half an hour. It must be the Italian in us. We bowled together for many years, and had a lot of fun. I remember my wife Sherrie saying to me, how he was always so nice to her. He was one of my favorite cousins. God took away a very nice and crazy person. We regret that we cant make the funeral, because we are headed to Florida on Wednesday. He will be in our thoughts. Sympathy goes out to his family, and all my relatives. May God bless everyone!!
