Eugene (Geno) Alan Lapinski. Age 58 of Romulus.
Geno passed away peacefully December 28th, 2024 at his home in Romulus surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Garden City to Raymond Lapinski and Frances Lapinski (Morton).
Geno is remembered by his former wife, Tracy Milhan (Temple), and their two children, Travis Lapinski and Holly Ford (Lapinski). He is also survived by his devoted wife of 18 years, Catherine Lapinski (Johnson), whom he married on June 10, 2006, and her daughter, Candice Johnson.
Geno was the youngest member of a large and loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Frances, and his brother, Harry. His memory lives on by his siblings - Georganne, Rose, Joe, Cy, Ben, and Chet - and his beloved grandchildren, Harley and Jaxson – and son and daughter in-law Josh and Sam.
Geno had a deep passion for all things outdoors. You would find him boating and fishing during the warmer months and hunting during the colder months. He would also be found in the garage tinkering and working on some new project, "Polish Engineering", he called it.
