Eugene F. Poeppert

Eugene F. Poeppert, age 86, of Banksville, on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Husband of Barbara (Wilson)
Poeppert. Father of Eugene (Jen) Poeppert and Nicole Sparber (Dan Bishop). Grandfather of Shawn
(Chelsea) Sparber, Dustin Sparber & Madison Sparber. He was an Air Force veteran. He worked as both a
stationary engineer for Allegheny County and a PA State constable for 30 years. He also worked as an
usher for both the Pirates and Penguins with his son for 11 years. He was a huge Pittsburgh sports fan
and enjoyed collecting baseball cards and coins. He enjoyed spending his summers at his camper in
Ashtabula County and loved fishing on Pymatuning Luke every spring. He enjoyed other past times such
as hunting, watching John Wayne movies, and jamming to oldies such as The Twist by Chubby Checker.
Eugene also loved spending time with his multiple grand fur babies Chewy, Harper, Geno, Tink, and Tara
along with the late Fozie and Toby. He was known to have a huge heart and truly be missed by all who
