Eugene Reed

Eugene Reed, age 86, of Junction City, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born Sunday, November 28, 1937, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Warner & Rebecca Hill Reed. Eugene retired from Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill, where he worked for over 20 years as a groundskeeper. Eugene enjoyed going to car shows, collected Hot Wheels, and enjoyed working in his garage.
Eugene leaves behind one son, Raymond Earl Reed (Lyida) of Junction City; one daughter, Michelle Fowler (Jerry) of Junction City; one half-son, Michael Reed (Francine); one daughter-in-law, Tina Reed; grandchildren, Misty Reed of Burgin, Jacob Fowler of Junction City, Allie Fowler of Junction City, Dalen Reed, Stephanie Davis, and Stacy Griffin; numerous great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Reed of Franklin, Indiana, Marshall Reed (Mary Jo) of Franklin, and Donald Reed (Patty) of Junction City; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by one son, Bill Reed; one half-son, Ronnie Griffin; two brothers, TJ Reed and Thomas Reed; and three sisters, Margaret Wilcher, Margie Warner, and Nancy Stewart.
Cremation Rites have been honored. No public services are to be held.
