Eugene Daniel Tucker
Pomeroy - Eugene Daniel Tucker. 92, of Pomeroy, died Friday, July, 5, 2024 at his residence.
Born December 23, 1931 in Marietta, Ohio, he was the son of the late Daniel and Oleta Cain Tucker. He was a veteran of the US Army where worked in the Motor Pool driving for a commanding officer. Dan attended The World Harvest Church from 1997 thru 2016 where he served as an usher. He was the pastor of Lighthouse Church in Belpre for many years. He had several different jobs including working for Frito-Lay, Mike Sells, Big Bear and Spires Motor Company.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon Bearhs Hartman Tucker; one daughter, Kitty Lou Gerlach; one grandson, Heath Gerlach; one great grandson, Austin Gerlach; one great granddaughter, Sierra Gerlach and two stepsons, Brian Hartman and Craig Hartman.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bertie Tucker; one sister-in-law, Joann Burton; son-in-law, Birt Gerlach.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Mount Herman Cemetery with Gilbert Spencer and Jimmy McFadden officiating. Military services will be conducted by the combined color guard. Friends are invited to sign the guestbook at ehwfh.com. Arrangements have been entrusted with the. Ewing Funeral Home in Pomeroy.
