Eula Grace Lang, 67, went to be with Jesus on January 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at home in Shawnee, Kansas. Eula was born on July 1, 1957, in Geneseo, Illinois to parents Francis C. Scranton and Mary I. (Jobe) Scranton.
She grew up in a lively household with six siblings. She graduated from Geneseo High School. Eula married Rob Lang in Port Byron, Illinois on July 9, 1975. They were blessed with four children. Eula really enjoyed being a pastor's wife and had a successful career as a Quilt shop owner, "Quilting Bits & Pieces" store in Eudora, Kansas. Eula enjoyed traveling around the country shopping at various quilt shops, walking her ten thousand steps a day, walking along the beach and collecting seashells, and attending quilting retreats with friends. She loved quilting so much she co-wrote books about the subject. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her 19 grandchildren very much and was loved by all.
Eula was preceded in death by her father, daughter Breezy Lang and brother Joel Scranton. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Rob Lang, sons Luke Lang, Caleb Lang (Morgan Lang), and Zach Lang. Siblings Bruce Scranton, Mary Vest, Phil Scranton, Tim Scranton and Veda Riewerts and her 19 grandchildren. Her family will be having a private family gathering at a future date.
In lieu of flowers please designate memorial contributions to "LBC Missions" (Lenexa Baptist Church). Lawrence Chapel Oaks Cremation & Funeral Services is honored to serve the family.
