George T. Lang, of Jamison, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on February 10, 2026. He was 75.
George is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Patti.
Born in Philadelphia to Paul and Gertrude Lang, George graduated from North Catholic High School.
George was a dedicated father and husband. Everyone who knew him knew that he loved his family with his whole heart. He was a supportive husband who shared responsibilities on their little farm, and embraced quality time with Patti. He was a devoted father who provided his children with a want- for- nothing childhood, serving as a solid role model in patience, fairness, and work ethic. He was a loving grandfather who is held in high regard by his grandchildren.
One of his greatest joys was their leisurely drives to Lancaster. Often a spontaneous idea, he and Patti would hop in the truck, singing their hearts out the whole ride to their favorites, especially Neil Young. He enjoyed the auctions and sales, conversing with the Amish, and of course, stopping for ice cream.
He loved riding and caring for his horses as much as playing with the dog. He was a nature enthusiast, always watching deer, reading about black bears, feeding the fish, the birds, and the fox.
He took pride in caring for his properties. One of his favorite pastimes was sitting upon his tractor and mowing the pastures. He loved collecting sticks for kindling and stocking firewood for his cozy living room fireplace.
George was a meticulously skilled carpenter at heart, he not only served as a general superintendent for P. AGNES Building Company for almost 50 years, but he also remodeled his home, and built both his garage and his barn. He was continuously working on endless home improvement projects.
George could carry a conversation with anyone. He spent his life making happy memories with his family and friends.
Along with his wife, Patti, George is survived by his loving children: Amy and her husband George Lookenbill, Brian G. Lang and his wife, Mariangeles, Brad Lang and his wife, Jaimee, grandchildren: George, Peter, Henry, Jorge, Bela and his dog, Bridgette. He is also survived by his brother Paul Lang and his sister Nancy Hansen. George is predeceased by his sister, Linda Cesarini. He will be sincerely missed by all who love him.
