Eula Mae Mills

Eula Mae Mills age 87, of Socastee, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. Mrs. Mills was born in Hickory Grove, SC, the daughter of the late Louis Manigo and Julia Patrick McDowell. After retiring from AVX, she spent time with her family, gardening, tending to her flowers, and most importantly watching her family grow. She loved the children, grandchildren, great-grands, and great-great-grands dearly, they were the light of her life. She was a member of Lakewood Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Francis Elliott Mills, a daughter Janet Mills, two great-granddaughters Addison and Morgan Stiles, along with seven brothers; J.T McDowell, Alton McDowell, Junior McDowell (Pauline), Berley (Katie) McDowell, Ronnie (Linda) McDowell, Paul (Corrine) McDowell, and Hoyt McDowell, and one sister Mavis Ann McDowell.

She is survived by her 3 children: Connie (Ronnie) Williamson, Francis Glenn (Jean) Mills, and Steve (Brenda) Mills. She has eight grandchildren: Wesley (Jesse) Williamson, Timmy (Tijen) Williamson, Amy (Steve) Brekke, Shane (Misty) Mills, Meghan (Josh) Stiles, Jeffrey (Samantha) Mills, Heather (Roy) Elliott, and Tonya (Chase) Allen, 17 great grand children: Hunter (Lauren) Williamson, Hannah Williamson, Bryan and Brooke Williamson, Kayla and Ethan Brekke, Haylie Mills, Wyatt Stiles, Madison Stiles, Tanner Mills, Dylan Mills, Finley Mills, Ellie Mills, Palmer Elliott, Hadley Elliott, Easton Allen, McKinlee Allen, and one great-great grandchild Harper Williamson. Along with her only sister Carolyn McDonald whom she loved dearly, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 12 at 3:00 PM at Lakewood Pentecostal Holiness Church (6585 Highway 707, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588) with TJ McKenzie officiating. Entombment will follow at the Mausoleum at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM at the church prior to the service.

At this time our entire family would like to thank you for the phone calls, visits, the food, and just the support that you have given us over the years and especially these last few weeks. It has often been challenging but with friends and family anything is possible.
