Eula D. Terkeurst

Eula ( Mamaw) D. Terkeurst 89 of the Arena Community in Jackson County, MS; passed away November 26, 2009 in Mobile. AL. She was born on August 8, 1920 in Newton Grove, N.C. She was a homemaker who loved to cook, she loved her family, and she was a member of Roberts Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband , Arthur W. Terkeurst, her daughter, Carolyn T. Mozingo, her son, Mike Terkeurst and her daughter-in-law, Joyce Terkeurst. She is survived by her children, Dudley (Sharon ) Terkeurst, St. Augustine, FL; Melvin Earl Terkeurst, Patricia T.(Francis) Green, and Dennis Terkeurst, all of the Arena Community , 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, November 30, 2009 from 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. at Roberts Chapel United Methodist Church on Roberts Chapel road off of Airport Blvd. Funeral service will begin at 3:00p.m. with Bro. Pete Herndon officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nolan Terkeurst, Art Terkeurst, Bobby Green, Charlie Mozingo, Robert Mozingo, Josh Terkeurst; honorary pallbearers will be Earl Terkeurst Jr, William Terkeurst, Bryan Green, and Andrew Terkeurst.In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to be made to Roberts Chapel United Methodist Church. Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS; is in charge of arrangements locally owned and operated.
