Brownie Trahan, 75, Burkburnett, TX

Memorial Service at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, OK on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.

Eulice Earl “Brownie” Trahan was born to Howard and Imogene Bell (Spannagel) Trahan on March 19, 1949 in Walters, OK and departed this life in Wichita Falls, TX on April 22, 2024 at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 3 days.

Brownie grew up mainly in Walters, OK, graduating from WHS in 1968. He married Glenna Norman in the early 1970’s and to the union 2 sons were born. Brownie made his home in Farmington, NM for a time and worked for various oil companies in the 1990’s. While living in Louisiana he began selling cars at the Billy Navarre Dealership which he did successfully for 20 years, which included top salesman for 6 straight years.

Brownie returned to Temple, OK, in 2015 residing with a sister and doing security at a casino. He settled in Burkburnett, TX in 2017, where he has enjoyed time with Shirline. Through the years he loved bowling and enjoyed fishing and golfing. He loved to host family and friends, was a dynamic cook, and could make all things Cajun. He also loved his dog.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Imogene Trahan; 2 brothers, Von Kevin Trahan and Richard Trahan; and 2 sisters, Gina Trahan and Risa Trahan.

Survivors include 2 sons, Kevin Trahan of Nashville, TN and Ryan Trahan of Burkburnett, TX; 3 grandchildren, Kylee Jo Miller and Justin of Burkburnett, Kaci Trahan of Mansfield, TX and Jorden Trahan of Nashville;  a great granddaughter, Aliyah Miller; his companion, Shirline Brown of Burkburnett; 2 brothers, Dennis Trahan and Mary of Tecumseh, OK, Howard Trahan and Janet of Walters; 2 sisters, Cindy Garner of Holliday, TX and Shawna Graham of Walters; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
