Palmer- Eunice L. Bisnette, 84, passed away February 22, 2022 in Palm Bay, Fl. She was born on October 15, 1937 in Palmer to the late George and Irene (Gregoire) Bressette where she graduated from Palmer High School. Throughout her life, she worked as an administrative assistant for a number of businesses. She was employed at Sanderson MacLeod Inc. for many years before working at her husband's company, Palmer Heating in Palmer, from which she retired. Eunice was a devout Catholic and communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle where she sang in the choir and acted as a Eucharistic Minister for some time. With a love and dedication for her home of New England, Eunice enjoyed watching her favorite teams, the Red Sox and Patriots, as an avid fan. She loved to sing and dance and was the life of the party, always wearing a smile on her face. She also enjoyed getting together with dear friends every Wednesday to play bridge.
Besides her parents, Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Joe" Bisnette in 2020; her daughter, Cyd Irene Mercier; step-son, Robert Brothers; and brothers, William, Richard (Doris), and Ronald (Christa) Bresette. She will be dearly missed by her children, William Mercier, Steven Mercier (Linda), Kathryn Massey (Brent), and John Mercier. She also leaves her step-children, Lea Bigda (John) and William Bisnette (Mona); grandchildren, Adrienne, Nicole, Rebecca, Thomas, Kristin, Angela, Erica, Paige, Kyra and Nadalie; step-grandchildren, John, Joey and Keith; as well as several great-grandchildren.
A walk-through visitation will be held Thursday, March 3rd from 5-7 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. The family is requesting for masks to be worn inside the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 4th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Family and friends are welcome to first gather at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. for a procession to the church. Burial will be held privately in the Spring.
