Eunice Bohot, 89, of Wimberley, Texas was born October 4, 1934, in Old Dime Box, Texas to Carl and Clara (Marburger) Nimtz. Eunice passed the evening of Thursday, September 26, 2024, in San Marcos with her family by her side. Growing up in Giddings, Texas, Eunice enjoyed learning to knit, crochet, sew and embroidery from her mother. She also assisted in taking care of her disabled father and helped with the garden as well as worked part-time with her mother at Schubert's Café. She also enjoyed spending time with her best friend, Florene Richter, who seemed to always be by her side. She and Florene took homemaking classes together and were part of the spirit team and cheered on the football team when they won state in 1951. Later after marrying her husband, Willie George Bohot, she worked alongside him in running their International Dealership in Giddings. After leaving Giddings, they moved around then finally landed in Wimberley, Texas where Eunice was a proud Administrator for 25 years for the Balcones Bank of San Marcos, Texas. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, working the ranch, gardening, and yard work. She loved sitting and watching the hummingbirds and traveling the United States with her husband.
Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Willie George Bohot; parents, Carl and Clara
Nimtz and daughter in law, Dawn Bohot.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Kenneth Bohot and wife Reneé of Rockport/Wimberley, grandson Lucas Bohot, step grandson Shawn Michael Garcia of Rockport.
A graveside service will be held at a later date for Eunice Bohot.
