Eunice Ilene Rader

Eunice Ilene Hatcher Rader, 97, wife of Robert Rader passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at her home in Lexington. She was Born March 13, 1927, in Springfield, Ohio to the late James Ira Lee and Junita Drucilla Godfrey Hatcher. She was an administrator for U.K. housing and Dining, and a longtime member of the Pinckard and Versailles Baptist Church. Throughout her life, Ilene was very active in Woodford County Homemakers and the Southern Baptist Women's Missionary Union (WMU).
Ilene will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Robert George Rader, Jr., daughter, Cynthia Diana (Daryl) Shields, Lexington, grandchildren, Mindy (Dan) Stone, Brandon (Leann) Shields, Austin (Michaela) Shields, great grandchildren, Hailey Stone, Ben Stone, Julie Shields, Calvin Shields, Weston Shields, and Delaney Shields. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters, and by her children, Paul Douglas Knott, Sandra Darlene Graham.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Bruce officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens where pallbearers will be Brandon Shields, Austin Shields, Ben Stone, Dan Stone, Daryl Shields, and Harold Shields.
