Mrs. Eva Catherine Curtis, age 98, of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away April 22, 2023 at Waverly Healthcare and Rehab in Waverly, TN. Eva Curtis was born on March 8, 1925 in Humphreys county to Paul Virgil Woods and Florence Lescure Woods. Eva was a homemaker and a member of Spann Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, playing rook, quilting, cooking, loved to watch baseball and the Atlanta Braves.
A graveside service will take place Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at McKeel Cemetery with Bro. Aaron O'Bryan officiating the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two wonderful grandsons, Shawn Curtis of Waverly, TN and Brian Curtis (Alena) of Mt. Juliet, TN and her great granddaughter, Penelope Raven Curtis.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Florence Woods; husband, Henry Clay Curtis; son, Kenneth Clay Curtis; brother, Wallace Woods; two sisters, Mildred Buchanan and Mary Ann Smith.
