Eva Garner Obituary
She was born in Rombauer, Missouri, on November 11, 1942, to the late Clyde and Treavel (Fowler) Wilkerson.
Eva was united in marriage to Truman Garner on October 31, 1980. He preceded her in death.
Eva loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She truly lived for her family, and her son, Jayson, was everything to her. Her life was centered around caring for those she loved, and her devotion to her family was evident in all that she did.
Eva's kindness and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Those that remain to cherish her memory are her son Jayson Garner (Wendy); brother, Bud Wilkerson (Sandy); grandchildren, Ryan Schoening-Scoggins (Bailey), Maranda Schoening-Scoggins (Dakota), William Schoening-Scoggins; great grandchildren, Brenton Schoening-Scoggins, Ryiah Scoggins, Adaiy Vanstory and Alessya Vanstory, sister- in-law, Sharon Wilkerson, Nita Wilkerson, Katherine Wilkerson, Louise Wilkerson, JoAnn Wilkerson; brother in laws, Leon Garner, Walter Bridges.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers, Norman Wilkerson (Eva), Carmen Wilkerson, Kermit Wilkerson, Jerry Wilkerson, Jeff Wilkerson, Ronnie Wilkerson, Steve Wilkerson, sisters; Sis (Fred) Arehart, Mable Selph (W.J.), Hazel Martin (Glenn), Wanda Garner, Patricia Mischnick (Robert), Jobina Bridges; nieces, Glenda Rodgers, Terri Lyn Hodges; nephew, Jared Wilkerson.
Funeral services will be held at Maupin Funeral Home on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Kevin Wilkerson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Auxvasse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Maupin Funeral Home for the family, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Blvd, Fulton, MO 65251.
