Eva Jo Robinson

Mooresburg: Eva Jo Robinson, age 73, of Mooresburg, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville. She was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, "mom"-in-law and sister. Jo was saved in 1975 and was of the Baptist faith. She really enjoyed living across from her kids and grandbabies and living on the lake. Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Jessie Slemp; sisters, Margaret "Sissy" Cantrell, Rose Marie Vanover, Tiny Hay, Betty Browning, Janie Meade, Lee Ann Taylor, Norma Cantrell, Sally Cantrell, Faye Large and Jill Collier; brother, Earl Slemp, Jr.

She is survived by her loving and very devoted husband 54 years Paul Robinson who treated her like a queen; son, Joe Robinson and wife, Deb; granddaughter, Catlyn Robinson (Allen Lord) all of Mooresburg; grandson, Derek Robinson and fiancee`, Harleigh Anderson of Mohawk; sisters, Patsy Baker and husband, Arnold of Wise, VA, Judy Cantrell of Wythville, VA; brother, Jimmy Slemp and wife, Audrey of Pound, VA; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home, Rogersville.

Funeral service will be conducted 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roger Trent officiating. Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at the Kirkpatrick Cemetery, Slate Hill Rd., Mooresburg. Those who wish to go in procession to the cemetery are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:00 P.M.
