Born on July 16, 1939, to Willie Earnest "Doc" and Pearl (Phifer) Layman, Eva lived a full, vibrant life that touched everyone she met. She had a gift for conversation and never met a stranger-her warm spirit and friendly demeanor made her a beloved figure to all who crossed her path. She was also a passionate animal lover, treasuring her little dogs, and cats, and her faith in God played an important role in her life.
