Eva "Annette" Vaughan

Eva "Annette" Vaughan, 86, of Lumberton, died Monday, March, 9, 2026. She was born on October 27, 1939, in Port Arthur, to Josie Mae Crane Wilson and Freddie Wilson.

Survivors include her two daughters, Victoria Vaughan Laine and her husband, Bryan Sperry Laine, and Carla Kaye Vaughan, all of Lumberton; three grandsons, Joshua Richard Roy and his wife, Heidi; Luke Anthony Roy; and Jacob Vaughan Roy and his wife, Naoki, all of Lumberton; great-grandchildren, Mia Victoria Roy, Zephron Joseph Roy, Carla Alexandra Roy, Saphira Vaughan Roy, Malachi Dijon Roy, Logan Riddick Roy, Luke Anthony "L.J." Roy, Jr., Trinity Uriah Roy, Ariel Alise Roy, and Abigail Roy; and nieces, Gwen Gerber of Beaumont; Jennifer Gerber of London; Hollie Hensler and her husband, James, of Houston; and Rebekah Coleman. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reverend Richard Vaughan; sisters, Mildred Coleman and Judith Elaine Gerber.

A gathering of Mrs. Vaughan's family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2026, at Journey Church Chapel, 1534 Highway 96 South, Lumberton, under the direction of Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont.
