Eva Vest Obituary
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Evergreen Memorial Park 4500 St Mary's Rd, Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Jimmy Little officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Eva was born September 8, 1932 in Columbus, GA to the late E. Fred Green, Sr. and Rosa "Bell" Nix Stringfellow. Eva worked as a manager at Continental Condos in Panama City, FL and worked at several businesses in Columbus, GA in the accounting department. She volunteered at St. Francis Hospital in the Gallops Center and she was a volunteer for the 1996 Olympics Softball Association. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her Husband - Floyd C. Vest; Sister - Flossie Green Pate; Brothers - E. Fred Green Jr., James "J.C." Green, and Nick Green.
She is survived by her Sons: Ronald Vest (Vickie) of Freeport, FL; Richard Vest of Columbus, GA; Reginald "Reggie" Vest of Jacksonville, FL. Grandchildren: Christopher "Chris" Vest of Columbus, GA; Brandy Vest of Jacksonville, FL; Shawn Jeffries of Cape Coral, FL. Her beloved nieces & nephews. All who loved her dearly, as she loved them.
