Eva Wallace Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 6, 2025.
Eva Dell Wallace, 91, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2025. She was born on December 20, 1933, in Pine Bluff to the late Arthur Shults and Sena Woodfield Shults.
Eva was born and raised in Pine Bluff, graduating from Watson Chapel High School, and she worked under manufacturing assembly for Central Maloney for 18 years before retiring. Her real passion in life was people. Eva was a doting mother, aunt, and grandmother who made sure Sundays were reserved for having lunch after church with her family. She was known for making the best fried chicken and always having an open door, loving everyone like they were her own to the point that everybody called her "Nanny." She was also a skilled seamstress and quilter. She was a proud member of Pleasant Home Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Eva is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gene Wallace, whom she married in 1952; a daughter, Eva Katherine Branch; son-in-law, Anthony Branch; two sisters, one brother; grandson, Spencer Lain; and four great-grandchildren Baylee, Tanner, Garrett, and Sutton.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Lain (Mark), grandchildren, Stephanie Lain (Donald), Brandy Graves (Stephen), Chase Lain (Tawnya); great-grandchildren, Hollie Hollis, Lyla Graves, Gabby Graves, Addison Lain; and a great-great-grandson, Jagger Graves.
A private graveside service will be held at 3:00pm, Wednesday, October 8, at Lee Cemetery with Brother Mike Holcomb officiating.
