Evajo Niebrugge

Evajo Niebrugge, age 78, of Indianapolis, passed away April 29, 2025. She was born on August 27, 1946, in Harrisburg, Illinois. Evajo graduated from Cloverdale High School in 1964 and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, the Greenwood Moose Lodge where she helped with bingo and music, a member of the American Legion since her birth. She was a frog and toad enthusiast, and was a musician all of her life, with a special talents in singing and percussion.
Affectionately known as "Aunt Toad", she is survived by her sisters: Alice June Hacker of Cloverdale, and Phyliss Jean Gaddis of Westfield; niece: Kimberly (Kurt) DeLong; nephews: Thom (Pam) Hacker of Cloverdale, Doug (Debbie) Hacker of Cloverdale, and Jeff (Wendy) Gaddis of White House, Tennessee; six great-nieces; two great-nephews; and many friends that were like family.
Evajo is preceded in death by her husband: Dennis Niebrugge; mother: Betty Williams; father: Forest Williams; brothers-in-law: Jerry Hacker, and Keith Gaddis; and furbabies: Freddie, Charlie Dog, and Abby.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial mass as 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 345 S. Meridian St., Greenwood, Indiana, 46143. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Indianapolis.
