Evalynn, Allison and Amelia Newell Obituary
Evalynn Renee Newell, 8 years old, Allison Lynn Newell, age 6, and Amelia Maze Newell, age 5, all passed away together on September 17, 2024, at their home in Wolcottville. Evalynn was born December 4, 2015, in Columbia City; Allison was born October 16, 2017, in Columbia City; and little Amelia was born December 21, 2018, in Fort Wayne to Jonathan Michael Newell and Rebecca Lynn Hughes. Their mother, Rebecca Lynn Hughes also died September 17, 2024.
The girl's father, Jonathan Newell, survives and lives in Kendallville. The girl's brothers are Brayden Newell and Nathaniel Newell both of Auburn. Paternal grandmother is Thelma and Rod Elkins of Rome City. Other survivors include paternal grandparents, Michael and Amber Newell of Kendallville; maternal grandparents are John and Jodie Hughes; paternal Uncle Clinton Williams of Mongo and Aunt Jessica and Chris Stewart of Auburn; maternal Aunt Sarah Hughes, Samantha Sanders and Uncle Ben Humphreys, Uncle John and Katelyn Hughes of Ohio and Uncle Richard Hughes.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 1:00 - 5:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Hamm officiating.
Burial will follow at Swan Cemetery near Laotto.
Memorial donations may be made to the family.
