In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Lynn Goodlett, and four brothers, Danny Wayne, Ronnie, Earl and Glenn Goodlett. He is survived by his children, Tamitha Lynn Goodlett of Mt. Eden, Evan Raphel (Sherry) Goodlett, Jr., Jeremy David "J.D." (Ashley) Goodlett, and Aaron Wesley Goodlett, all of Taylorsville, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.
Raphel's family has respectfully chosen cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
