Evan E. Holman, age 68, husband of Virginia L. (Hurst) Holman, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born on December 8, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Ellen (Eustis) and John H. "Ace" Holman, Sr. Evan was a graduate of Northern Chester County Technical School in Phoenixville. He went on to obtain his CDL and to have a successful 25-year career at Pitt Ohio, where he was honored for having a safe driving record. Evan was a passionate motorsports enthusiast. He enjoyed all things auto racing, and he looked forward to attending races, especially at Watkins Glen, and watching the races on TV. He was a fan of Volkswagen and could often times be found tinkering and working on one. Evan was also an animal lover. In addition to his wife, Evan is survived by three children, Evan W. Holman, Alexander N. Holman, companion of Erin Sinnott, and Ellen M. Holman; one sister, Cindy Holman; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Collins and sister-in-law Diana Holman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Toni Collins and one brother, John H. "Jack" Holman, III. A visitation will take place for family and friends in the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 10:30 am - 11:00 am. A private service will follow. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Brandywine Valley SPCA by visiting bvspca.org/donate. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, PA. Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
