Evan Daniel Turko, born on July 24, 1973, in the quaint town of Red Bank, New Jersey, touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, at home, surrounded by his loving family and adoring dog, a testament to the profound love and deep connections he cultivated throughout his life.

Evan's journey began in the classrooms of North Andover High School and the halls of U Mass in Amherst, MA, where he learned and formed lifelong friendships. His charm and charisma were magnetic, drawing people to him wherever he went. He had a dynamic personality and possessed an enormous social and emotional intelligence that allowed him to connect with others effortlessly. He was a true gentleman, always ready to lend an ear or offer thoughtful advice to those in need. His keen sense of humor brought joy to countless faces, brightening even the darkest days.

Family was Evan’s cornerstone, and he cherished each moment spent with his beloved wife, Suzanne (nee Stephens), with whom he shared 24 years of unwavering love and support. Together, they nurtured their three incredible children, Cayla, Zachary, and Joshua, to whom he devoted every ounce of his time and energy. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he could often be found basking in their laughter or cheering them on at their various endeavors.

Evan had a special affinity for children and dogs, embodying a gentle spirit that made him a favorite among the young and furry alike. His beloved dog, Barkley, was never far from his side, a loyal companion who shared in his many adventures. Those who knew him well understood that Evan’s heart was as big as his love for the New York Yankees, which he cherished dearly, marking opening day as a "national holiday" that brought him immense joy.

While Evan's family thrived in his presence, they also grieve for the loss of their greatest supporter. His siblings, Rachel Owens (Ardis) and Ilana Turko (Judd Kessler), alongside their loving parents, Henry and Bobby Turko, carry forward his spirit, each embodying traits he cherished: kindness, resilience, and a zest for life. His departure leaves a void that can never be filled, yet his memories will remain a cherished part of their hearts forever.

Evan joins his grandparents, Carl and Natalie Howard, and his favorite dog, Lou, in eternal rest. Though he may be gone from this world, his spirit will continue to shine brightly within the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support will forever be a guiding light to his family and friends, reminding them of the beautiful soul that was Evan Daniel Turko.
