Evangeline Krienke Obituary
EVANGELINE ADELINE KRIENKE, age 86 of Waseca, died Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Foxdale Assisted Living Facility.
She was born on February 12, 1939, in Alma City, a daughter of Frank and Evelyn (Lau) LaFayette. On November 24, 1959, Evangeline was united in marriage to Rolland Krienke at the Trinity Lutheran Church Parsonage. Together they had one son and lived in various places throughout southern Minnesota. She enjoyed crafting, doing puzzles, having her nails painted and hair done, visiting with friends and family and walking when she was able. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville.
She is survived by her siblings, Blossom Stennes, June Fascnat, Marilyn Rannow, Junior LaFayette, Delmar LaFayette and Ramona Nicklay. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; one son, Roger Krienke and siblings, Harlan LaFayette, Erma LaFayette, Donald LaFayette, Carolyn Kimbrow, Ardella Lightheart and Vila Schmidt.
Interment will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Saint John’s Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Iosco Township.
