Evangeline "Angie" Tyler

Evangeline Tyler, 81, of Summerville, SC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2024.
A visitation of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 South Main Street Summerville, SC 29483. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 12:00pm at World Harvest Community Church, 3441 W. Montague Ave, North Charleston, SC 29418. Burial will immediately follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road Summerville, SC 29485.
Angie was the daughter of the late Ausby Tyler and Debbie Holt Tyler. She was born in Conway, SC but spent most of her life in Summerville. Angie was excellent when it came to working with electronics. She knew how to sauter like no other. She spent many years working for the school district until her retirement. Angie's priority in life was caring and providing for her loving family. Angie was a faithful member of World Harvest Community Church. She enjoyed many things in life including cooking, spending time with her family, and most of all shopping. Angie truly had a heart of gold and would do anything to help somebody in need. She was a lovely mother, grandma, and dear friend who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her four sons: Ronnie Tyler of Tabor City, NC, Phil Tyler of Walterboro, SC, Randy Jordan (April) of Loris, SCand Wendell Jordan (Krysti) of Moncks Corner, SC; as well as her two daughters: Cindy Lantrip (Joseph Votta) of Summerville, SC and Tammy Arms (Kevin) of Goose Creek, SC; as well as 20 grandchildren, including Johnny Lee Tyler and 35 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one son, Dale Tyler (Debbie) of Loris, SC as well as 8 siblings.
