Evans Caglage Obituary
It is with great sadness we share the news of the falling asleep of servant of God Evans George Caglage, 69, beloved brother and friend to many, July 6, 2025
Evans was born to George Gus Caglage and Kiki Haratsis Caglage on February 15, 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a photojournalist with the Dallas Morning News. During his time as a journalist, he traveled the world covering a different range of events from the fashion runways in Milan, Paris, London and New York to professional sports and major news events, such as being in New York during 9/11. When Evans wasn’t taking photos, he would enjoy cooking and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; aunts, uncles and a cousin. May they rest in peace.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his brother Constantine Caglage and sister, Jane Caglage Taylor, her husband Randy and numerous relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donate to St. Demitrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2020 N.W. 21st , Fort Worth, TX 76164 or charity of choice.
O God of spirits, and of all flesh, who has trampled down death, crushed the power of the devil, and granted life to your world, do You yourself, O Lord, give rest to the soul of your servant, who has fallen asleep, in a place of light, a place of green pasture, a place of repose, where there is no grief, sorrow or mourning. Forgive every sin which he has committed in word, deed or thought, for You are a good God who loves mankind. For there is no one who lives and does not sin; only You are without sin; Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness and Your word is truth.
