Evelyn Alibozak

Evelyn (Beckling) Alibozak, 96, of Bristol, beloved wife of the late Edward Alibozak, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025.

Born in Waterbury on January 17, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Bertha (Ecker) Beckling. Evelyn was a longtime resident of Terryville and Bristol and a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Bristol.

She worked as an administrative assistant at New Departure and was a proud member of Pequabuck Golf Course, where she enjoyed many years of golfing. Evelyn will be remembered for her easy-going nature, selfless spirit, and zest for life, which touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her nephew, Harry Unsworth of West Hartford, her nieces and their husbands, Lynn and Reginald Dionne of Bristol, and Kim and Robert Palazzo of Farmington. Evelyn was predeceased by her sister and dearest friend, Vivian Unsworth. She cherished time with her great-nephews, Gregory (Taylor) Dionne, Christopher (Melissa) Dionne, Benjamin Palazzo, and Connor (Ana) Palazzo; her great-niece, Angelina Palazzo; and will always be remembered as a sweet and loving aunt, a wonderful sister, and a dear friend.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Bristol. Evelyn will be lovingly laid to rest alongside her husband, Edward, at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
