Evelyn Egan Obituary
Memorial services will be held later in the Spring. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Evelyn was born January 23, 1933, in Amarillo, TX to Thurman and Elvia Summar. Following high school, she went on to earn a BA from Eastern New Mexico University, graduating in 1981.
On January 12, 1954, Evelyn married Max Eugene Egan. He preceded her in death in December 2017.
She also was preceded in death by her father, Thurman; her mother, Elvia; a brother, J.T. Summar; and two sisters, Alice Scarborough, and Phyllis Kidd.
Survivors include her children, Randy Egan, of Rio Rancho, NM, Ron Egan, of Amarillo, TX, and Sonja Egan Doyal, of Owatonna, MN; a sister, Jaecenna Shepard, of Hunstville, AL; and a brother, Raymond Summar, of Huntsville, AL.
