Evelyn Everett Obituary
Evelyn was a founding member of Christ United Methodist Church on East Brainerd Road. She was a bookkeeper for several local businesses and loved sitting with elderly folks. In Evelyn's downtime she loved flower gardening and was an artist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Barney Creel, brothers, Alvis Clark, Pariel Clark, and Kenneth Clark, grandchild, Kelly Hutchison and a great grandchild, Chase Hutchison.
She is survived by daughter, Eve Hutchison of Myrtle Beach, S.C., son, Michael "Lee" Everett (Dianne) of Chattanooga, TN., grandson, Wayne Hutchison of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; granddaughter-in-law, Mary Leland Hutchison of Lookout Mtn, TN.; great grandchildren, Jane and Jack Wilde of Lookout Mtn, TN., and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Evelyn will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Home East Brainerd Road Chapel with Reverend Barry Kidwell officiating. Interment will follow at Valley Head Cemetery in Valley Head, Alabama.
The family will receive friends 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Christ United Methodist Church on East Brainerd Road in Chattanooga, TN.
